While the number of books I might have read is only a handful. They have personally helped me become the person I am today. Let’s take a look at some of these books. There is no particular order in which I have placed them and no specific order you need to read it.

Monk Who Sold His Ferrari

Author: Robin Sharma

The monk who sold his Ferrari is a light read. The book shares simple exercises whose goals are to help you live a happy, content and achieve your goals in life. Before I read the book, I was already incorporating some of the techniques in my life, and I felt great. If you can’t get your hand on the book or would instead read the synopsis and get a list of all the exercises, then I got you covered. I wrote a whole blog post about it over here: https://srivats-22.web.app/blogs/53b97bbef1ab420daf662055c1696a39.

Steve Jobs

Author: Walter Issacson

This was the first book and biography I read after coming to the States. This book portrays the type of person the late CEO and co-founder of Apple was. I attribute my craze to starting a business to this book. Even if you don’t see yourself starting a business, I would recommend reading it to get an idea of what type of person Steve Jobs was. There is also a move, but that doesn’t convey as much as the book.

Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future

Author: Ashlee Vance

I believe this was the second book I read in the States. Another biography of by far the most influential CEO & founder Elon Musk. While reading it, I initially started to get a little board because it was more about the companies he started and less about his life. But after reading the book, there was this new concept that struck me. If you feel humanity will benefit from a new invention or a better way of implementing something, then work towards making it a reality no matter what others say about it. Cause in the end, at least you tried and can be proud of it while others might only be thinking about doing something. This is one of the main reasons I started developing multiple applications and products. My apps are usually created to fix a problem I am facing. There is a chance others might face the same issue. Sometimes they are developed so I can learn something new as a developer.

The Percy Jackson series

Author: Rick Riordan

This might be the only fiction series that I have read. Initially wasn’t quite sure if I would enjoy it, but I gave the first book a read and was hooked. And from there, it was a downhill ride. I ended up finishing the entire series. The whole series is based around the Greek & Roman god and goddesses. This might be one of the series I would love to re-read, and I think I might do it soon.

Those are the books I would recommend reading. If you want, feel free to private message me on what books you enjoyed reading and what you would recommend. Catch you all in the next one.
