When you loaded up the site, you might have noticed something looks different. Let me walk you through what has changed. First, here is a list of all the new stuff
New Features
New UI for blog posts
The old version stretched the whole screen and didn’t have elegance while looking at it. To fix this, I made use of a new CSS library, and this makes the UI look way more refreshing. There are more details on the blog preview. Starting with the thumbnail, the title, and the category it belongs to. All these elements are clickable and will take you to the right place.
Categories
Now a blog site is only complete with categories or tags. While I had these options in the backend, I never made them available on the front end. But now it’s available, as I push more updates to the site, I will also work to make categories more useful.
New UI for the reading pane
The old version of the reading page directly loaded the blog content. In this new version, on the top, you can see the blog’s thumbnail with the blog title you are currently reading. The page will continue to get enhancements as time goes on. Like updates to the images, so it doesn't look cropped and maybe more features.
Hope you like these new features. Feel free to message me on Instagram about what you think about these changes and what features you would like to see in the future.
